  This airport will close when the new international airport at Corvera, 15 mins. from La Torre, opens in 2019.
2. Alicante 60 mins. - Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Flybe, Jet2.com, British Airways, Aer Lingus.
Nearest train station to La Torre is at Balsicas ( 3km ) on Madrid - Murcia - Cartegena line.
Car hire is recommended for stays of 1 week or more; not essential for long weekends.
